Join AfricAid to "Gallop for Girls" on August 31st
Sign up for this year’s Boulder Sunset 5K Run and help us raise $15K for AfricAid’s Emergency Fund.

This fund helps girls with emergency situations that would keep them out of school. Girls like Neema, an AfricAid Kisa scholar, who was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Thanks to the Emergency Fund, AfricAid has been able to cover Neema’s medical costs including a stomach operation. The operation was a success and now Neema is back in school finishing her education!
We hope that you’ll lace up your sneakers and join us to raise funds to support girls like Neema!
The Boulder Sunset is a Your Cause Sports event, which means that you can fundraise for a non-profit of your choice while you run! Through the Your Cause Sport website you can even create a custom fundraising page to share with family and friends.

Colorado Academy AfricAid Benefit

Join us to celebrate our 11th year partnering with Colorado Academy's AfricAid Student Club to support girls' education in East Africa. This family-friendly event will feature live music, festive food and drinks, and children's activities. The main event of the evening will be a silent auction including items from local shops and artisans as well as unique handmade Tanzanian items.
Tickets are $20 and FREE for children under 7

TANZANIA TRIP 2013
Join us in Tanzania in 2013! You'll experience an 11-day African safari which provides rare access to authentic Tanzanian education and culture and close-up interactions with our staff and scholars. It's an opportunity to experience something truly unique and connect with people who are different than you. This amazing safari combines five days of behind-the-scenes cultural experiences with an up-close wildlife viewing adventure. And, it's all to support girls’ education in Africa. We're proud to partner with Africa Adventure Consultants to bring this opportunity to you.
The cultural and educational portion of this trip includes visits to several of our partnership schools, the chance to teach a Kisa lesson to a class of our Kisa scholars and the chance to visit a scholar's home. The safari portion of the trip includes time in beautiful Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater National Park. If you haven't quite gotten your fill of breath-taking landscapes and striking wildlife, there is an option to extend your trip and add 3 days in Serengeti National Park. We hope you'll join us on this trip of a lifetime!!
